Féilire x Wyrd Collective presents: Samhain Masquerade Ball
Go Local Glasgow and West Scotland
(Fri 30 Oct: 7pm)
Féilire and Wyrd Collective are delighted to celebrate Samhain and their one-year birthday at Sharkeys Bar on Friday 30th October.
They are throwing a masquerade ball to bring in the Celtic New Year, coming together at one of the year’s most liminal times, when the veil between the worlds is at its thinnest. Guise in your masks ward away the spirits! Reflect on the last year, set intentions, look into the underbelly, and reflect on the light we will carry into the darkest half of the year.
On the night there will be installations and traditional Samhain games with Wyrd Words bringing you spooky stories to start off the night, followed by music from Cashlin MacKenzie, Medb and Culchie Goth. Closing out the night will be a Féilire x Wyrd DJ set for a whimsy dance into the wee hours.
