Hunter's Full Moon with Kittlin

An afternoon of musical stories from Kittlin folk band and the Moonspinners, Claire McNicol and Linda Williamson.

With sweet harmonies, fiddle, flute and guitar from Lesley O’Brien, Mags Smith and Freya Toriusen, celebrate the full and final moon of harvest on the 25th of October in Govan.

Winding the moon into a white ball in the sky, storytellers and musicians recreate lunar myths, true tales and traditional stories of witches, wolves and wooers. Then all together, you'll enjoy a cup of tea while the full Hunter's Moon rises over the GalGael community trust.

This year’s Festival explores the rich relationship between storytelling and the natural world through our theme Bird and Beast. Alongside a vibrant programme at the Scottish Storytelling Centre in Edinburgh, storytellers across Scotland bring these tales to life this autumn through the Go Local programme. Join us for some unforgettable tales and moments that bring us closer to nature, as we follow the trail of footprints and feathers and let our imagination take flight.
