Join Bulgarian storyteller Nana Tomova for mesmerising tales rooted in ancient Thracian myth and magic. The Great Goddess has been revered for millennia, and her sacred animals — Bear, Cow, and Duck — carry echoes of her ancient cult. Hear how the first bear came to be, a horned cow tends to grief, and how the moon waves her wings.

This year’s Festival explores the rich relationship between storytelling and the natural world through our theme Bird and Beast.
